This show was wonderful! EOA, great opener, it was hot. Literally. Turned Clouds was perfect. Yeti rocked. Borne was sublime as the sun set. A beautiful gentle breeze started blowing across the lawn. Echo was smoking and Seekers 1 & 2 were the best I've heard so far. Who doesn't love a good Secret Madhuvan?
The crowd energy on the lawn was humming and folks were shaking there booty's.
Underrated show.

This is one of those shows where upon relisten, I realized this is a nice underrated treat.At the time, the night after an epic 3-night run at the Fox, this show seemed a bit underwhelming. It was also a typical NC summer show weather wise - very hot, humid, sunny. Those that came from ATL were tired, it was more or less night 4 of a 4-night run which included a drive from ATL to CLT and heat. Have I mentioned the heat.
However, a year later, from my couch in 71 degree AC, I'm pleasantly surprised revisiting the show. The first set is full of solid jams. Not just Borne - EoA, Yeti, and Butter Rum are quite nice renditions. All three under 15 minutes, but don't let that fool you, those are 3 solid jams.
Highlights: The first set, Echo, Arcadia.
